Studson SHK-1 helmet — straps, harness and fit system
For the Studson SHK-1 helmet, Fudakin makes the straps, harness, and fit system. That's sewn webbing, buckles, ratchets, and the retention hardware that holds the helmet on the wearer's head — assembled in-house to the spec and testing requirements Studson provides. It's the part of the helmet a wearer adjusts every time they put it on, and the part that has to hold under load.

Fudakin builds the hearing-protection hardware for Studson's ear defenders — the padded ear cups and the hardware that holds them, moulded and assembled on the same floor as our other Studson work.

Parts move through our integrated test lab — UV and water testing, checked by full-time QC staff — as part of production, the same testing infrastructure used across our other product lines. That testing supports the brand's own certification process; it isn't a certification in itself.
