Injection molding was the natural next step after CNC machining in Fudakin's early years — our founders added mold making, then molding itself, because customers kept asking for a partner who could take a part from concept to finished plastic component without handing it off between vendors. That's still how we work today: our tool room builds and maintains the molds that run on our own presses.
Keeping mold making in-house means faster iteration when a design needs a tweak, tighter control over tool life and part consistency, and no guessing about who's responsible when something needs adjusting mid-run.
