A helmet program usually splits across several vendors: a molder for the shell, a foam house for the liner, a sewing shop for the harness, a painter for the finish. Fudakin isn't the molder or the foam house. What Fudakin does is the strap and harness system, and the painting and graphics, both running on the same floor as our molding, metal, and finishing lines, so a brand isn't coordinating those two steps across two separate buildings.
Sewn straps and harness
Straps, harness, buckles, ratchets, and the rest of a helmet's retention and fit hardware are sewn and assembled in-house, built to the spec and testing requirements a brand provides.
Multi-stage painting and graphics
Helmet parts (including shells molded by another supplier) move through our multi-stage painting line: base coat, color, and protective top coat, finished to a brand's exact color and graphics spec, including client-branded team livery. Pad printing adds logos and graphics directly to the part surface where a design calls for it.

Client-branded components, built to spec
Fudakin makes components for helmets, not the complete helmet, and those parts run through the same tooling, painting, and finishing process as the rest of our production, built to each brand's own color and graphics spec, including pad-printed logos and team livery.

Who makes helmet fit systems and straps for helmet brands?
Fudakin does. We are an OEM/ODM contract manufacturer, founded in 1996, with our own factory in Shenzhen, China. We sew straps and harness and build the buckles, ratchets, and retention and fit hardware to the brand's spec. The shell and liner come from other suppliers.
Is there a helmet strap and harness manufacturer in China that works with international brands?

Yes, that's one of our two confirmed helmet capabilities. Multi-stage painting and pad printing run on parts supplied to us, finished to a brand's exact color and graphics spec, including client-branded team livery.
Can Fudakin help a helmet's strap system meet certification requirements?
We build the retention hardware to the specification and testing requirements a brand provides, and our integrated quality lab can run testing in support of that. We don't claim a certification on a brand's behalf. That's between the brand and the relevant testing body.
How does a helmet shell and liner normally get made, even though Fudakin doesn't make them?
A shell is typically injection molded from a rigid material such as polycarbonate or ABS, sometimes combined with a second bonded or overmolded layer. A liner is typically molded separately from EPS, EPP, or PU foam, chosen for how it needs to absorb impact. The shell and liner then get mated with a strap and harness system before the unit is finished. That last step, the strap and harness system, plus any painting on the shell, is where Fudakin's helmet work fits in.
