Design engineering is where the process begins. 3D mechanical simulation of the mechanical molddesign is a key to mold quality. We start with the DFMEA (design review) in close consultation with ourcustomer. We use Mold Flow to determine gating, mold cooling and to examine part stress and warp.We utilize PFMEA on all of our manufacturing processes to assure quality and optimize the process.
Our production engineers further develop our processes through automotive standard PPAP documentation. In early stages they assist with material development converting overseas materials to Asian market based material.
